What's Twangler?

It's a uniquely configurable holder, designed to simplify taco prep and elevate the fun and creativity of taco time. One assembly can support 1 to 1 billion tacos, so it's great for solo snacking, family mealtime, or large parties. It's flat and compact to easily store in a drawer. The FDA compliant silicone is microwave safe for crisping hard shells and dishwasher safe for easy clean up. It's fun and interactive nature brings everyone together in the kitchen and helps foster culinary skill development.

What's Twangler?

Our family had enough of slippy, tippy, and cracky tacos, so we designed the ultimate holder. Testing and refinement resulted in Twangler, it checks all the boxes! With our Kickstarter over 150% funded and thousands of supporters, we're convinced we got it right! We're currently exploring ecommerce, retail, and wholesale options. Ultimately, we hope our creation will be a blessing to taco lovers. We envision taco nights where the only thing spilling over is joy and laughter.

Why silicone? Why not plastic?

Silicone offers several advantages over other materials:

Temperature resistance. Unlike plastic, silicone can withstand a broad range of temperatures without melting or becoming brittle. This makes it suitable for products that need to withstand microwave use.
Durability. It is more durable than most plastics. It’s resistant to weathering, UV, and ozone exposure, allowing it to maintain its properties and performance over a long period.
Flexibility. Silicone remains flexible over a wide temperature range .
Chemically inert. It is chemically stable and doesn’t react with most chemicals, making it safe for use in food applications.
Not Plastic. Unlike many plastics, silicone does not release harmful substances when heated and has a drastically lower toxicity level overall. Twangler has no BPA, BPS, and is certified for FDA compliance.
Easy to clean. Silicone is easy to clean due to its non-stick nature and can be cleaned in the dishwasher without concern about deformity or damage due to heat.

Is Twangler unique?

Yep, in a number of ways. It's unique enough to have 2 patents pending. It's NOT plastic or metal, so hard shells can crisped in the microwave and cleaned in the dishwasher without worries. It's super flat, compact, and stackable, so it's easy to store. It's customizable and can be configured in tons of ways to support one or many tacos.
